Welcome to Quality Use Auto Parts (QUAP)! By accessing or placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms govern the use of our services and products, and it is essential to read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or purchasing from our website, you accept these Terms of Use and agree to comply with them.

2. Product Descriptions and Conditions

All products on our website are used auto parts that have been carefully selected for resale, including engines, transmissions, ABS systems, turbos, transfer cases, and other automotive components. Please note:

  • Our parts have been used in other vehicles and may show signs of wear, rust, or other age-related conditions.
  • Mileage is estimated to the best of our knowledge but is not guaranteed.
  • Product images are for illustrative purposes only. The actual image of the product will be emailed before shipping for your approval.
  • Heavy items like engines and transmissions require proper unloading equipment upon delivery to prevent damage.

3. Pricing and Payment

We strive to ensure accurate pricing on our site. Payment methods are securely processed, and your personal and payment details are safeguarded according to our Privacy Policy.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • Shipping ETA: Orders are generally shipped within 7-14 business days from purchase.
  • Delivery Inspection: Inspect your package upon delivery. In case of visible damage, notify us within 48 hours with photos. We will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for returns due to shipping damage.
  • Replacement: We will ship replacements promptly once the damaged item is returned in its original condition, subject to part availability. If unavailable, a full refund will be issued within 24 hours.
  • Rejected Packages: If a package is refused upon delivery, a restocking fee of 30% of the order value will apply. Additionally, customers are responsible for covering both the original and return shipping costs.
  • Rescheduled Deliveries and Storage Fees: Any rescheduling of deliveries or related storage fees incurred to accommodate these changes will be the customer’s responsibility.

5. Returns and Refunds

  • Condition: Items returned must be in their original, unused condition as received.
  • Return Process: Contact us to receive return instructions and a return address. Returns due to non-defective issues incur a 30% restocking fee and must be shipped within 7 business days.
  • Customer Responsibility: The customer bears shipping costs for returns, and tracking must be provided. Refunds are issued only after product verification.

6. Replacement Policy

If we replace a defective unit, it is considered a repair of the original part, and the original installation and mileage date will apply.

7. Installation Requirements

To maintain the warranty, the following procedures must be followed:

  • Engines: Replace the oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, and rear main seal. Drain and refill engine oil to manufacturer-recommended levels. Some engines may arrive without certain accessories. If anything is missing, you would require to transfer parts from your previous engine or pick them up at your nearest auto parts store. Install new belts and hoses. A diagnostic report from an ASE-certified facility is required for warranty claims. Improper installation voids the warranty. Incorrect orders or diagnoses are considered returns, with customers responsible for return and replacement freight costs. Install within 10 business days, from the date of delivery.
  • Automatic Transmissions: Clean all components, including the oil pan. Replace all seals and gaskets, change oil and filter, flush and test cooler and lines, and ensure the torque converter is fully engaged in the front pump. Install within 10 business days, from the date of delivery.
  • Manual Transmissions: Install a new clutch, pressure plate, and slave cylinder, and have the flywheel turned. Fill and check fluid levels. A diagnostic report from an ASE-certified facility is required for warranty claims. Improper installation voids the warranty. Incorrect orders or diagnoses are processed as returns, with customers responsible for freight costs. Install within 10 business days, from the date of delivery.
  • CVT Transmissions: Install a new transmission cooler, flush all transmission lines, and use manufacturer-specified CVT fluid. Reprogramming is required for proper operation.
  • In case of a warranty claim, a diagnostic report from an ASE-certified facility is required.

8. Warranty Information

  • Warranty Period:  All products are covered for 60 days from the delivery date. Warranty claims require documentation submitted within 5 business days. Extended warranties are activated upon notification after installation. All warranty repairs must be pre-approved by QUAP, with a diagnostic report from an ASE-certified facility required for claims.  
  • Engine Warranty: Coverage applies to manufacturing defects in core engine components, including the block, cylinder heads, pistons, crankshaft, camshaft, rockers, and oil pump. Warranty does not cover attached accessories such as sensors, hoses, water pumps, manifolds, wire harnesses, valve covers, brackets or flywheel. In diesel engines, warranty does not cover oil pumps, fuel pump, fuel injectors or any other part that is not part of the core engine as described above. Warranty is void if disassembled without authorization or if heat tabs are missing/melted.
  • Transmission Warranty: Coverage excludes leaks or damage from non-replaced seals, gaskets, or filters. Warranty is void without proper reprogramming by a dealer or ASE-certified mechanic and if disassembled without authorization.
  • Transfer Cases: QUAP guarantees matching part numbers as per the product description. Customers must verify compatibility. Disassembly without authorization voids the warranty.
  • ABS Systems:  Modules may require reprogramming by a dealer or ASE-certified mechanic. Warranty is void if not reprogrammed or if disassembled without authorization.  
  • Void Warranty: Disassembling parts without authorization voids the warranty.

9. Cancellations

Order cancellations made within 24 hours are fully refundable. After 24 hours, a 30% restocking fee applies.

10. Limitation of Liability

We do not cover labor under any circumstance. QUAP is not liable for damages resulting from improper installation, incorrect order placement, or incidental damages caused by our products. 

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our site, including images, text, and branding, is the property of Quality Use Auto Parts. Unauthorized use or copying is prohibited.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Your Business’s State/Country].

13. Privacy and Security

Your privacy is our priority. Personal information and payment details are securely handled and stored in compliance with applicable laws.
